Very impressed with Flowers Direct. The florist they used (Raindrops on Roses in Billingshurst)were very good, the flowers were beautiful and much better than the image on the internet. I was very impressed. I ordered the flowers at midday and they were delivered by 4:30pm the same day. I would definitely recommend and use them again.

I ordered some flowers to be delivered to my girlfriend’s work. When she came home with no flowers I knew they were not delivered. I phoned flowersdirect and got no reply. They were still not delivered the second day (a Saturday) I called again but they have no port of contact on weekends! I emailed flowersdirect to cancel the flowers as there was no point in delivering them, as my girlfriend was not going to be at that place of work anymore. Monday they finally got back to me saying they were delivered but as the place of work was a hospital they were rejected and sent back to the depot. They said due to the nature of the product being perishable they were returned to depot. They used their terms and conditions as a get out clause explaining they cannot take responsibility for third party recipients. Fair enough, but I registered with the company giving my contact details. If the flowers were refused why couldn’t they be delivered to my home or at least ask me for further action?! Also why was nobody available to speak to on weekends? Of course the flowers perished 4 days later when they eventually emailed me back. They said it was not possible to contact all failures of delivery – which suggests to me they fail a lot. This is evident from poor reviews I wish I had seen before using this poor excuse of a company. They never apologised and ignored my further correspondences. Shop elsewhere guys!

I ordered a pink rose pot plant for delivery on Christmas Eve to my Aunt on the 21st November. I was advised on the 23rd December that the post code in the delivery address was incorrect by customer service at Flowers Direct. Whilst on the phone, the customer service adviser, Laura entered the address herself onto a website herself and was able to correct the error. I was told that the deliver company would be notified.
I then received a call later the same day to say that the delivery had been ‘disposed of’ because the address details were incorrect. The house number and name clearly show up on any google or sat nav search without the postcode entry. My aunt has lived at this address for 8+years.
The gift was for my Aunt’s for her birthday which sadly for her falls on Christmas eve. We were really disappointed that she didn’t receive this surprise as planned. I was promised a call back to let me know what ‘disposed of’ meant and if it could still be delivered on the requested date – but am still waiting. I had regularly used the service before, I shan’t be using them again. Better to call a florist in the town directly than go through a third party that is able to manage the service. I am currently chasing a refund.

Used once rather than Bunches (who are excellent) because website claimed to deliver in time, however delivered a day late and of course missed the occasion. When I complained I was told the post code was incorrect but address was in a small town and nobody telephoned to check. Late flowers, not as good as other companies and poor customer service.

PLEASE DO NOT PUT YOUR TRUST IN THESE PEOPLE FOR AN IMPORTANT FLOWER DELIVERY!! I ordered £86 worth of flowers for my mums funeral, to travel in the hearse with my mums coffin. Unbelievably they were nowhere to be seen! I am completely and utterly disgusted. NOTHING can make up for the fact that my mum had no flowers from her family at her funeral. The flowers were ordered well in advance with detailed dates, times, addresses, phone numbers etc. A very sad, emotional day made worse by flowers direct.
