I have ordered from Next before and they were lovely flowers – BUT I ordered for Mothers Day 2010 2 bunches with vases £30 for my mum & mum in law – they both called when they recieved them and said there beautiful – then Mother-in-law called next morning and said ‘thought I should tell you as I know they are quite expensive 6 out of the 7 roses had droopy heads so I called my mum and she admitted hers had gone droopy aswell – I then went to visit both in the afternoon and I was soooo embarrassed sorry to say but they looked like they had been on a grave for 2 weeks all droopy and started to go brown! And very sparce, in the pictures on the site it looks like you couldnt get a finger inbetween the flowers I could of got my head in there !!! I said why didnt you say yesterday, and mums being mums said they didnt want to sound ungrateful – they looked nothing like the picture – When I got home called next and they were helpful and said sorry and they would said replacements with chocolates F.O.C but I opted for my money back – so gave both mums the £30 and they can go get something else. I’ve wrote this as say If you don’t get to see the flowers you have sent – how embarrassing.

I purchased next flowers on monday march 15th 2010 for my sisters 30th birthday, which cost me 30 pounds plus 3.95 pp, my sister called me the next day and said thank you for the flowers but, that she thought i should see them as she knew they would have been expensive, but they were very poor quality. When i went to her house that night i wa absoloutly shocked at what they had sent, firstly she arrived home that day to find them sitting on her doorstep, then when she lifted the box it was sodden with all the water that was supposed to be in the flowers as was the gift bag they came in, the flowers were of very poor quality were all dying and brown and looked nothing like what i had ordered. I f i had bought this bunch of flowers from my local supermarket they wouldnt have cost me any more than 5 pounds, like the previous review i felt totaly embarassed, next are now sending another bunch but were not very intrested or aplolagetic when we contacted them. After this i will never order from next again.

I’m afraid, another rubbish bouquet from Next, although this time I haven’t even received them because they tried to deliver them to the wrong address. Completely missed my anniversary now and will be delivered tomorrow. DH is very upset as he ordered them over 2 weeks ago. On three other seperate occasions I have had bouquets replaced by Next as they were in a very poor state when they arrived. I have to say, Next have always replaced the bouquets free of charge and the replacement bouquets have been a vast improvement. I’ll wait to see what arrives with the Courier tomorrow….

I am so disappointed and rather frustrated after spending half an hour on the phone to Next customer service regarding some flowers I received. A very dear friend of mine sent me some flowers for my 40th birthday not knowing I was on holiday for 10 days. When I arrived home late last night I found Next flowers sitting on my doorstep. They were delivered 7 days ago, and included a teddy bear and melted chocolates (its July)! When I contacted Next I was told it was normal delivery practice as the recipient might have popped to the shops and be returning shortly. The person I spoke to also mentioned that I was lucky they hadn’t been stolen as sometimes items go missing within a hour of delivery when left! No card was put through the door to say they had been left either, so if they had been stolen I would never have known my friend had sent them! I am not sure how or why I should feel lucky that someone has taken the time to send me a lovely gift which is completely ruined? Although the customer service rep could “completely understand my point of view” they refused to do anything at all about the flowers. I will NEVER order flowers from Next again if this is how they could be received.

I have ordered flowers for my friend 21st Birthday i have paid for then £38 +3.99 for delivery and £2.50 for baloon. Because she never thanked me for them it got me thinking so i asked her if she liked her flowers and she said that she never got them so I got on the phone to Next and been told that they have been delivered on the day that I have requested, after talking some more to customer service we realize that they have been delivered to wrong address and they have put blame on me for typing wrong address even that before I have used service and flowers been sent to same address. Anyway they said that they can’t do anything about it what I don’t undersand is how they can leave flowers with someone if name didn’t amch because obviously my friend didn’t leave there so it looks like they just living flowers anywhere and expecting people to pay for it sooooo disapointed won’t order again never.
It’s disgusting what they do to people.
With any normal flower service person that flowers are for would have to sign for them.

I ordered a £26 birthday bunch with 50% extra roses. A box of chocolates,balloon and i paid a extra £6.50 for just pink perfume. Including delivery it came to £36.00
My mother in law got 3 dead roses,3 broken valentine and 3 broken dead unidentified flowers…
The perfume was missing,the box the flowers came in was ripped and delooze. Im fuming. The woman at next told me she would resend flowers tomorrow. I will come back here and update this review.

I have ordered flowers for my Mothers Birthday which i have paid £38 +3.99 for delivery. She recieved the flowers this morning to find a very sparse, scrunched up bouquet- which does not match the description and all 10 lilac roses are brown. All of the petals are brown and I am not able to remove them as we would be left with the centre bud. We are both very dissapointed as Next’s products are usually of a great quality.
However, I must say, hat’s off to next as I spoke to their customer service department, who very kindly offered to replace the flowers(but they would not arrive until monday) or refund. Next were very helpful and professional and have advised they are going to contact their suppliers.

Absolutely awful quality. My poor husband has paid £32 for the worst bunch of red roses that I have ever seen. I have told him not to waste his money again. This is the second time I have been given a next bouquet of flowers (if you could call it that – they are so measly) and have been really disappointed both times. I ordered some flowers for valentines day. They arrived about 6.15pm (website says they will arrive by 5.30). They were mouldy and one stem had snapped. Even if they had turned up in great condition, they were not worth the money spent. Next did do a full refund though. I will never purchase flowers from Next again.

Have previously (not for Mothers Day or Valentines Day note) got some very good quality flowers from Next online unfortunately this bunch for Mothers Day look like a scrape together what’s left off all the decent flowers lot! (ie. the ones with broken/short stems) Very short stems 4-5inch max, browning around the edges of petals and pretty wilted also. Pushed into oasis block, seriously embarrassing for £30, when looks like less than a fiver from the garage. About to complain to Next to try for refund but won’t be ordering from them again for busy flower days, any time but Mothers day or Valentines should be fine hopefully!? What a shame.

I wouldlike to submit a complaint about flowers received by me for Mothers Day. To say that they were a disgrace for the money paid is putting it mildly, very sparse and bad quality. I do not see why my daughter should have to pay the price she did when you could probably buy the same flowers for five pounds in a florist.
I do not know how a big company like Next can get away with such sharp practise.

Flowers were beautiful bit the packaging wasn’t great, the flowers were delivered really late at four in the evening and the flowers died within a week whilst I watered them and kept them in the sunlight overall not happy with the service.

I have ordered next flowers for years, overall I have spent much time on the phone to customer services as a result! They always offer to redeliver or refund and are curteous. However I admit the quality of the flowers is hit and miss. Planted flowers have always been problem as they are always In a mess and shook out all over the delivery box. Plus twice now the compost has contained hundreds of little flies, which have been disgusting!
Having said this their postal flowers have been without exception superb.

I ordered flowers for my Mum last week to be delivered to her today for her birthday and they did not aive.
I called NEXT at 5pm to check they had the order and was told they did and that the flowers were on the van for delivery but I had to give it till 7pm. I asked what to do if they had not arrived by then and was told to call back. Well I did call back only to be told that the flower department had now closed and that I would have to wait until tomorrow to speak to someone to find out what had happened.
Sent to a friend for the birth of their baby. Was extremely disappointed with the size of the arrangement.

Oh My Days! Ordered Sparkle gift set at 41.99 inc delivery – Very very poor quality of the whole package – plant was DEAD wine cooler dented and shoddy wine ok and gift set ok. Brought this for my moms birthday and she was very very very upset when it arrived. I called to advise next after 7pm they state call centre is open until 11pm! Spoke to one person who had to transfer the call, explained problem to second person, she couldnt halp me so passed me a third person, explained once again the problem just to be told the flower department closes at 5pm??? So i was advised i would be called the following day which i was this was a friday,i was offered a full refund which i accepted. Today is now wednesday and my account does not show a refund, i called them yet again to be told there was no record of my complaint and nothing about a refund? I am fuming, i have now been told it has been sorted but im sorry i will not be ordering from next again, gifts are disgusting value for money and they appear to employ any person to answer phones who can be bothered to get out of bed in the mornings. Very very poor service

Flowers ordered from Next on 19th Dec 2011, for delivery on 1st Dec 2011 did not arrive, nor did they arrive the following day.
After complaining they refunded the money and offered to send out an apology, which did not arrive until the 6th Dec almost 1 week later, then to add insult to injury, after asking me if I would prefer roses or alstromaria and freesia, they sent out the roses that I did not choose.
Not only is this a dreadful service but the roses were of poor, cheap quality, and as I used to be a florist I know cheap poor quality flowers when I see them.
Also: BEWARE THE SMALL PRINT. Flowers can be delivered between 7am and 7pm, but when trying to contact them after 7pm you will discover that the customer service centre is closed.
DREADFUL, DREADFUL SERVICE, AVOID DISSAPOINTMENT AND GO ELSEWHERE.

Ordered flowers from Next on Wed 30th Nov for delivery on 5th Dec.
This was for my mother’s 91st birthday. The flowers did not arrive on the 5th! My mother had waited in all day.
Next order said “Sorry for delay” On contacting.
The flowers were delivered at 4pm on the 6th Dec! They were in poor condition and the delivery driver was rude to my mother stating that……”If you have any moans or complaints then contact management”.
I gave them a second chance as the same thing happened the last time I ordered Next flowers. A VERY BAD SERVICE!! SO BE WARNED!!
Customer services were not really interested simply blaming the supplier and accepting no responsibilty.
I am suggesting to my wife that she also buys her cloths and housrhold goods elswhere as I personally would prefer her not to give Next the large amount of business (Money!) she already does.
Remember…….there are many other places to purchase flowers and I recommend you do that before you to are disappointed!!!!!!!!

Ordered flowers for loved ones to be delivered on 22 December – first time I had used this service. Account had been debited – flowers did not arrive. Customer services stated order had not been validated, despite money being taken from my account. New confirmation from Customer Service that flowers would be delivered on 30th December …. Flowers never arrived!! Reason – delivery failed, i.e. order still not validated. I requested a full refund and received a lame apology. I will not use or recommend this service to anyone. Professional looking leaflet does not equal professional service!!! Utter rubbish – do not use.

I received flowers for my birthday from my girlfriends.
Delivery driver just dumped the box in the porch despite the fact my husband was at the window – we were taking decorations down.
Box was soaked inside , one rose head was broken off, lily stem split down the middle.
The flowers look like they are from Miss Haversham’s bouquet – brown and curling, nothing like the picture you buy them by !!!
Very disappointing and what a waste of money. How can they keep this service going – I have yet to see a good review.

0I wouldlike to submit a complaint about flowers received by me for Mothers Day. To say that they were a disgrace for the money paid is putting it mildly, very sparse and bad quality. I do not see why my daughter should have to pay the price she did when you could probably buy the same flowers for five pounds in a florist.
I do not know how a big company like Next can get away with such sharp practise.

PLUS DOUBLE DELIVERY – ABSOLUTE DISGRACE WILL NOT RECOMMEND
TO ANYONE – AND I AM NOW FOLLOWING UP WITH A MANUAL COMPLAINT PLUS

1.3I received the flowers for mothers day. The roses were dead by teatime. They looked like they had just been chucked in the box for delivery. My daughter was very disapointed when she saw them. She had paid over £40. What a waste of money

2.5Flowers were beautiful bit the packaging wasn’t great, the flowers were delivered really late at four in the evening and the flowers died within a week whilst I watered them and kept them in the sunlight overall not happy with the service.

0I have ordered next flowers for years, overall I have spent much time on the phone to customer services as a result! They always offer to redeliver or refund and are curteous. However I admit the quality of the flowers is hit and miss. Planted flowers have always been problem as they are always In a mess and shook out all over the delivery box. Plus twice now the compost has contained hundreds of little flies, which have been disgusting!
Having said this their postal flowers have been without exception superb.

0I ordered flowers for my Mum last week to be delivered to her today for her birthday and they did not aive.
I called NEXT at 5pm to check they had the order and was told they did and that the flowers were on the van for delivery but I had to give it till 7pm. I asked what to do if they had not arrived by then and was told to call back. Well I did call back only to be told that the flower department had now closed and that I would have to wait until tomorrow to speak to someone to find out what had happened.

1.5Oh My Days! Ordered Sparkle gift set at 41.99 inc delivery – Very very poor quality of the whole package – plant was DEAD wine cooler dented and shoddy wine ok and gift set ok. Brought this for my moms birthday and she was very very very upset when it arrived. I called to advise next after 7pm they state call centre is open until 11pm! Spoke to one person who had to transfer the call, explained problem to second person, she couldnt halp me so passed me a third person, explained once again the problem just to be told the flower department closes at 5pm??? So i was advised i would be called the following day which i was this was a friday,i was offered a full refund which i accepted. Today is now wednesday and my account does not show a refund, i called them yet again to be told there was no record of my complaint and nothing about a refund? I am fuming, i have now been told it has been sorted but im sorry i will not be ordering from next again, gifts are disgusting value for money and they appear to employ any person to answer phones who can be bothered to get out of bed in the mornings. Very very poor service

0.8Flowers ordered from Next on 19th Dec 2011, for delivery on 1st Dec 2011 did not arrive, nor did they arrive the following day.
After complaining they refunded the money and offered to send out an apology, which did not arrive until the 6th Dec almost 1 week later, then to add insult to injury, after asking me if I would prefer roses or alstromaria and freesia, they sent out the roses that I did not choose.
Not only is this a dreadful service but the roses were of poor, cheap quality, and as I used to be a florist I know cheap poor quality flowers when I see them.
Also: BEWARE THE SMALL PRINT. Flowers can be delivered between 7am and 7pm, but when trying to contact them after 7pm you will discover that the customer service centre is closed.
DREADFUL, DREADFUL SERVICE, AVOID DISSAPOINTMENT AND GO ELSEWHERE.

0Ordered flowers from Next on Wed 30th Nov for delivery on 5th Dec.
This was for my mother’s 91st birthday. The flowers did not arrive on the 5th! My mother had waited in all day.
Next order said “Sorry for delay” On contacting.
The flowers were delivered at 4pm on the 6th Dec! They were in poor condition and the delivery driver was rude to my mother stating that……”If you have any moans or complaints then contact management”.
I gave them a second chance as the same thing happened the last time I ordered Next flowers. A VERY BAD SERVICE!! SO BE WARNED!!
Customer services were not really interested simply blaming the supplier and accepting no responsibilty.
I am suggesting to my wife that she also buys her cloths and housrhold goods elswhere as I personally would prefer her not to give Next the large amount of business (Money!) she already does.
Remember…….there are many other places to purchase flowers and I recommend you do that before you to are disappointed!!!!!!!!

1.8Ordered flowers for loved ones to be delivered on 22 December – first time I had used this service. Account had been debited – flowers did not arrive. Customer services stated order had not been validated, despite money being taken from my account. New confirmation from Customer Service that flowers would be delivered on 30th December …. Flowers never arrived!! Reason – delivery failed, i.e. order still not validated. I requested a full refund and received a lame apology. I will not use or recommend this service to anyone. Professional looking leaflet does not equal professional service!!! Utter rubbish – do not use.

0.8I received flowers for my birthday from my girlfriends.
Delivery driver just dumped the box in the porch despite the fact my husband was at the window – we were taking decorations down.
Box was soaked inside , one rose head was broken off, lily stem split down the middle.
The flowers look like they are from Miss Haversham’s bouquet – brown and curling, nothing like the picture you buy them by !!!
Very disappointing and what a waste of money. How can they keep this service going – I have yet to see a good review.

0To save embarasing sender used above name. Wont even bother scoring, absolutly diabolical to the fact I have written to the Head Office, mind you if after seeing all these other complaints probably futile exercise, would not trust them sending out plastic flowers.
Save yourself any problems use another company.
