Ordered flowers (the gerbera bouquet) last week for next day delivery for my Mum’s birthday. Really pleased with the flowers, Mum loved them! And the delivery was unaffected by the postal strike which was a real bonus.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!
Ordered flowers, chocs and a balloon for a very special birthday, well in advance. they still managed to deliver it a day late. What good is a big birthday balloon when it isnt your birthday. A GREAT BIG LET DOWN!!!
The website has several mentions of 100% guarantee or your money back. But you have to read the small print. it only covers the flowers not the service. I was originally offer a 20% discount voucher on my next order!?!?!?! Like i’m gonna use them again! Had to complain by phone & email before I got 20% of the cost back.

Serenata Flowers is simply the worst florist I have ever used, and I wish I had read these reviews before placing an order through them. We needed to order flowers at 7:30pm for urgent next-day delivery. Right at the top of Serenata’s website is a banner saying “Need flowers tomorrow? Order by 8pm for FREE delivery”. This clearly implies that 8pm is the cut-off time for next-day delivery, and that there would be no delivery charge…. We placed an order at about 7:40pm, but a delivery charge was being added. My wife managed to speak to somebody (using their callback option), only to be told that the free delivery applies “only to postal deliveries”? !? Firstly, the banner is clearly misleading, and secondly I fail to understand how a postal delivery is possibly on the same day… Anyway, they agreed (as a “goodwill gesture”) to refund the delivery charge. The next morning I received an e-mail advising me that I had missed the cut-off time for next day delivery (!!) and advising me to contact them “as soon as possible” to advise whether I would like them sent out the following day, or a full refund. Unable to get them on the phone (as everybody else seems to have also found), I e-mailed them both directly and through their website. Five hours (and three e-mails) later, there is still no response from them, despite an e-mail demanding that they let me know by 1pm if they are going to do something about it and deliver today, or whether I need to order same-day delivery with a more reputable company. In the end I ordered through Teleflorist, who I have always found to be efficient. Serenata Flowers have zero customer service, and give misleading delivery information on their website. I would never recommend them to anybody!

TERRIBLE – AVOID AVOID AVOID
The customer service was awful – no answer from any number! (US number said it didn’t even exist)
No email confirmation of order.
Website crashed numerous times.
My 1st order for my mum never went through, but my aunt’s did (although without any confirmation, I ended up ordering from another site, so she had 2 lots of flowers).

Based on an internet page that said that Serenata specialises in flower deliveries to Italy I placed an order for mothers day a week in advance. Two days after they were due to be delivered (i.e. after Mothers day) I received a request for a destination phone number, which I had already included on my original order.

I duly provided that, received acknowledgement from customer service and then the next day was informed that my order had been cancelled on the grounds that I had not provided the necessary information. Mothers day missed, and now no flowers at all.

I phoned customer service to complain (mysteriously cut off mid conversation first time), expecting profuse apologies and a gesture of compensation. Instead I got stonewalling and blaming of the Italian florist. What an appalling service and even worse attitude to customer service. I suggest to anyone thinking of using Serenata to stay well clear.

AVOID SERENATA!….Terrible customer service!
Ordered a bouquet for my mums birthday & it never materialised!!!
They took the money from my account straight away,but no flowers turned up.
Mums birthday was ruined & when I call serenata at 6.30pm to ask where my flowers were I was just told they had a problem with the delivery.
I had left 3 different telephone numbers when I placed the oreder in case of any problems but noone had even had the common courtesy to call me!
I was only offered a refund, which I was informed wouldn’t reach my account untill 3 days time,AND CERTAINLY WOULDN’T RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!!!
Mum’s birthday was runined :(

Ordered on 29th June, flowers were delivered by 1st class post (included in price) on 30th. Bouquet included about 8 stargazer lilies, all but one still in bud. These opened day by day, giving a progressively more glorious effect. The last of these flowers were finally discarded on 17 July. We were very satisfied.

Today I received a big box at my workplace which had 12 Brown and rotting red roses inside :( . Apparently I should have got them 7 days ago! Well at least everyone at work saw the funny side. Called the company and complained was offered a replacement (better) but it was supposed to be a surprise so I just asked them to call the person who sent them.

WORST FLORIST EVER
Received a red rose wrap. As my boyfriend upgraded it to deluxe so there’re 16 red roses. However ALL of them are still in buds, not blooms. Half of them came rotting. Definitely not worth the money.

AWFUL SERVICE

I ordered flowers for my girlfriends birthday which had to be delivered between 8 and 12 which I paid extra for. The flowers did not arrive between 8 and 12, they did not get delivered at all. Luckily my girlfriend caught the flower guy on the way out the door at 5.30pm – yes 5.30pm!!! – where he had a stinking attitude and tried to blame her for the mistake. Throughout the day I had to contact the offices who said they would look into (this meant I ahd to call them back 3 times throughout the day).

I ordered flowers from thier website. Order was incorrect with both day it was dispatched and content. Website is innacurate and customer service kept me on hold forever and there was no hint of remorse i.e. (gift card, apology)

I thought it was all excellent. It has got better since October and everything about it was good, other than the website, which is why people are complaining. If you do it carefully, you will see flowers DO arrive by the delivery day and you can order by 8pm for FREE next day delivery.

RUINED MY WEDDING DAY!!

I’ve used this company severeal times over the years and they have become progressively less efficient and more expensive.
I ordered flowers for mothers, to be delivered before 12pm on my wedding day (this was specified on the order)- the order went through 2 days prior to the day. The flowers didn’t turn up, because apparently I needed to confirm details for random security checks. They didn’t bother to phone me, instead sent a dumb e-mail which I didn’t get because, strangely enough, I was busy sorting my big day out!! They did happily take my money off me though… I was livid and it ruined part of our reception dinner. Having complained, they offered to send the flowers (full charge) – they obviously have no sense of occasion whatsoever…. As compensation they offered to send a small bouquet to each mother anyway – only my M-in-L’s turned up. My Mum’s hasn’t and now Serenata won’t answer any e-mails.
This isn’t the first time they’ve cocked up either.

DON’T USE THIS COMPANY – THEY ARE A BUNCH OF RIP-OFF MERCHANTS!!

I saw bad reviews after placing an order, which made me nervous. When I finally found the telephone number for Serenata Flowers, not easy to find on their website – it is 0207 100 5826 – the person who answered the phone made matters worse by constantly stating that I had agreed to terms and conditions and that delivery dates are not guaranteed when choosing the Royal Mail option and that its quite clear when you order. When pressed, she told me the flowers had been dispatched that day – ie on the nominated day of delivery. What I managed to wheedle out of her was that Royal Mail had collected at 02.00 am and that in fact there was a good possibility of delivery that day. She did not say if, in their experience, this usually happened. In fact, the flowers WERE delivered that day, so I have no complaints about that. I DO however think they should make it more clear at the booking stage that guaranteed delivery is by courier only, when they actually say on the site:
Q: How long does it take to send flowers by post?

A: It depends when you place your order. We have an 4pm cut-off time for postal next-day delivery, and 8pm for courier – and if you order in time, we promise to have them delivered by 6pm the following day. You can also specify a timed delivery (morning, evening, skipping the school run) or choose from our range of same-day delivery flowers (but you’ll need to be quick, cut-off time is 2p.m.)

Now that to me is misleading!

I ordered flowers for my mother’s birthday, my card was declined, with advice to try again, which I did twice. My bank called to let me know the payments were in fact leaving my account. Called Serenata flowers, they said couldn’t fulfil the order unless I paid yet again over the phone, and the internet payments had failed due to a problem with my postcode on their website. The supervisor said it was all my fault for not calling after the first attempt, although the decline message has suggested trying again – so paid 3 times, no flowers. I will get my money back after a week apparrently – and according to them entirely my own fault!!

Disappointing. Ordered flowers by way of an apology. The flowers were delivered when they said they would be but no card was enclosed, the person I was apologising to had to guess who they were from. When I emailed about this I was offered a 10% refund – not the 100% on their website. I asked them to post the card so that the recipient would at least know that I was apologising but they said they are not able to do that as they are an internet based company! Whatever that means, not sure why they can’t just pop a card in the post hardly going to break the bank.
Will not use them again.

I chose Serenata Flowers because of their range of flowers and claims to handle international deliveries with ease and experience, and also recommended by Which! What a big mistake! My Get Well flowers for my daughter in Germany required a 2 day delivery; I gave detailed instructions on how to get to her house; paid my money which Serenata administered immediately (the only aspect of the order to work well), and relaxed knowing that my daughter would be pleased. NOTHING ARRIVED; NOBODY INFORMED ME OF ANY DELAY OR DIFFICULTY. I had to telephone and was put on hold for 20 minutes and eventually got through to an assisstant who did not apologise for the failure to deliver, and merely asked (do you want to cancel then?). Several calls and e-mails later, my money was refunded, the flowers never arrived nor did the complimentary bouquet they promised for my daughter.Furthermore,each time I asked to speak to the supervisor as I was getting nowhere, I was told this person was always unavilable!! In spite of having my married name, the company started calling me by my christian name – I pointed that I was not a friend but merely some poor let-down customer. From the reviews I believe there are many dissatisfied customers and this company does not deliver what it purports to do; perhaps Trading Standards should look at this organisation and stop the public being misled. In their only defence, Serenata did refund my money in full. I cannot comment on the flowers because no-one saw them. I shall NEVER use them again and I advise all my friends likewise.

To my surprise my mother received them around noon, nicely gift-wrapped and she said that they are amazing. So I am happy :)

Do not use this company. They stole my money!

I ordered £70 worth of flowers for my nans 80th. Ordered online then called to make sure all was ok. I was told everything was perfect. They took the money from my account. 3 weeks later I saw my nan and wondered why she hadn’t called to say thank you to find out they never got delivered! I didn’t at any stage get a call nor mail. I then called them and the man, Andrew, said he could see they had been paid for hut never sent out. Minutes later after demanding my money be returned he Hung the phone up on me. They still have my money and i have no flowers!
They have stolen my money!
A company no short of thieves!

TERRIBLE DO USE THIS COMPANY !!! – Absolutley hopeless. I ordered flowers to be delivered on the 16th December for a special occasion, they were delivered a day late in terrible condition. What a disappointment. Tried phoning and emailing to complain numerous times, staff completely unhelpful and rude. They try to hide behind the small print. The large paragragh on 100% customer satisfaction means nothing.

Never use this company
I would rate it a big fat 0. I ordered flowers online and paid by credit card as I am in south Africa. It said order declined, but have been charged 5 times. Trying to get an email reply is impossible, I finally got one saying payment cancelled but my bank has confirmed that they have received the money. I have paid 5 times and still no flowers. I am so angry.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
I just got an email – sent at 5.39 pm Friday evening – to say out of stock so no delivery tomorrow, will send on Monday – although they took my money on 22 December. Birthday is tomorrow, 300 miles away, so no way of getting anything else. They offered 10% off next order – but after reading this page, there won’t be one.
Have asked for TWO bouquets to be delivered on Monday in compensatiion. We’ll see. It’s a Bank Holiday. No post.

‘Customer services’ (HA!) said they would deliver flowers and a box of chox – not tomorrow (’next Monday’ as far as I was concerned) but on January 9th! I have asked for a refund. I have contacted Peter Ahl and linked this page.

Previous writers will probably not read this. But I hope others do, avoid any dealings with the company.

I placed an order on the portugese website so i could send flowers from the uk. Not only did they never respond to my emails or call me back when i requested a call but i requested the flowers to be delivered between 10am-3pm, they couldnt meet this and my mum never got a birthday present. thanks for nothing, now i need to seek a refund of £60.00 which i’m guessing will not be easy

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY, THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SERIOUSLY UNHELPFUL:

This is the first time I have reviewed a company. I think all companies make errors and as long as they resolve them to the best of their ability then I am satisfied. Serenata did not deliver the flowers I ordered for Tuesday despite having confirmed they would. When I called them Wednesday morning they said that i ordered it after the cutoff (8.00pm) and should have recieved an e-mail to confirm I wanted them to be delivered the following day. I didn’t get this e-mail. I explained I was happy for the flowers to be sent on the Wednesday as I do understand errors occur. However i was informed it was too late now for the flowers to be delivered Wednesday (despite it being 8.45am when I phoned). I explained I was anxious for the flowers to be delivered on that day which they said could be done if I either spent £10 upgrading the bouquet or £6.99 paying their delivery charges. Whilst they admitted it was their error they were adamant I should pay the extra costs. I asked for a refund at this point as the manager told me the same story. Frankly they didn’t apologise and seemed to there was no issue with the service!

What a terrible company, I would never recommend them to anyone to use. Flowers ordered for 19th December 2011, promised they would be delivered, no delivery, delivery arrived a week later, no apology. They only arrived after numerous phone calls and emails to which they DO NOT REPLY very, very rude company.
Still awiting a resolution as in the small print they refund in full!!!!! Do not ever use this company.
When a resolution is received I will write another review.

Avoid.
The flowers -ordered well in advance- were not delivered on birthday.
What more do I need to say?
Customer Services did not call back with an update when contacted on the day. “Unfortunately, we have no control over this delay” was the feedback received the next day.
Fail. Will never use again.

They are SCUMS AND LIARS i did online shopping for my uncle’s wedding i paid £ 29.99 but they didnt deliver the flower when i call she claimed they delivered the flower courier took the signature not name and no refund the woman i talked she was gonna call me what happened who took the flower if delivered no one knows THIS COMPANY BASED ON CONNING PEOPLE NOT FLOWERS i am ashamed of myself to find these satans to con me. The staff are a bunch of complete morons.

Please dont use this company, Embarrassment is all you will get.
Use a reputable company who know what they are going rather than bunch of idiots who can’t even work a computer.
