Ordered flowers (the gerbera bouquet) last week for next day delivery for my Mum’s birthday. Really pleased with the flowers, Mum loved them! And the delivery was unaffected by the postal strike which was a real bonus.

Ordered flowers, chocs and a balloon for a very special birthday, well in advance. they still managed to deliver it a day late. What good is a big birthday balloon when it isnt your birthday. A GREAT BIG LET DOWN!!!
The website has several mentions of 100% guarantee or your money back. But you have to read the small print. it only covers the flowers not the service. I was originally offer a 20% discount voucher on my next order!?!?!?! Like i’m gonna use them again! Had to complain by phone & email before I got 20% of the cost back.
Serenata Flowers is simply the worst florist I have ever used, and I wish I had read these reviews before placing an order through them. We needed to order flowers at 7:30pm for urgent next-day delivery. Right at the top of Serenata’s website is a banner saying “Need flowers tomorrow? Order by 8pm for FREE delivery”. This clearly implies that 8pm is the cut-off time for next-day delivery, and that there would be no delivery charge…. We placed an order at about 7:40pm, but a delivery charge was being added. My wife managed to speak to somebody (using their callback option), only to be told that the free delivery applies “only to postal deliveries”? !? Firstly, the banner is clearly misleading, and secondly I fail to understand how a postal delivery is possibly on the same day… Anyway, they agreed (as a “goodwill gesture”) to refund the delivery charge. The next morning I received an e-mail advising me that I had missed the cut-off time for next day delivery (!!) and advising me to contact them “as soon as possible” to advise whether I would like them sent out the following day, or a full refund. Unable to get them on the phone (as everybody else seems to have also found), I e-mailed them both directly and through their website. Five hours (and three e-mails) later, there is still no response from them, despite an e-mail demanding that they let me know by 1pm if they are going to do something about it and deliver today, or whether I need to order same-day delivery with a more reputable company. In the end I ordered through Teleflorist, who I have always found to be efficient. Serenata Flowers have zero customer service, and give misleading delivery information on their website. I would never recommend them to anybody!

My 1st order for my mum never went through, but my aunt’s did (although without any confirmation, I ended up ordering from another site, so she had 2 lots of flowers).
Based on an internet page that said that Serenata specialises in flower deliveries to Italy I placed an order for mothers day a week in advance. Two days after they were due to be delivered (i.e. after Mothers day) I received a request for a destination phone number, which I had already included on my original order.
I duly provided that, received acknowledgement from customer service and then the next day was informed that my order had been cancelled on the grounds that I had not provided the necessary information. Mothers day missed, and now no flowers at all.
I phoned customer service to complain (mysteriously cut off mid conversation first time), expecting profuse apologies and a gesture of compensation. Instead I got stonewalling and blaming of the Italian florist. What an appalling service and even worse attitude to customer service. I suggest to anyone thinking of using Serenata to stay well clear.
